P3CFE
After a little pauze, i flew the F5 again, and I just have to say.. it is really, a great module. I mean, all the systems, flight characteristics, wing bend etc. looks and feel great !. I know it is a much less complicated aircraft than an A10C for example, but it just feels so complete and correct. I also noticed that the view with track IR is already corrected for Neck/eye position, witch is not done in every module yet I think, and I think it should !! Very nice module, hope this quality is equaled in present and on coming modules. So..my compliments to the Besimtek Dev's. Greetings, John
Erk104
I also noticed that the view with track IR is already corrected for Neck/eye position, witch is not done in every module yet I think, and I think it should !! It would be nice for resolution to be set standard for everyone's machine too... So that everyone's monitor could see 20/20. Some of us don't have super resolution and we have to utilize the zoom feature (much like a pair of binoculars) in order to see things that others can see without a zoom feature because they have much better equipment and screen resolution. I think that the sim is fine with out the Neck and eye restrictions. Maybe a special options could be created so we could choose to be hard core simmers with nice equipment or low budget simmer with mediocre machines and still be somewhat equal. I love the F-5E and I also I love the freedom of movement. Edited January 31, 2017 by Erk104
Nodak
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B7lef_b-zo87eEY4ZU9xT3ZYLXM/view Some of the musics a little cheesy, but it's got it.

Dav IRL
I'm about to pull the stage 2 trigger on this module. Has anyone any objections or will I love it? I also want to know what aircraft carrier can I take off from in the editor? Thanks. 4.8 I7, 1080, TMW&T, SSD, VKB MK.IV.

It's not a big powerplant built for air superiority but it's great fun to fly against MiG-21's and the like. All those airial fistfights are simply a lot of fun. I love it! Robert31178
You absolutely cannot fly this onto a carrier. It has a hook, but that is for barrier end approaches - these were emergency landings using tail hook and arresting gear for planes with hydraulic or control systems. If everything was right in DCS you would not be able to take off from a carrier since the F-5 has no tow bar, nor would you be able to take off since the landing gear would no doubt fail on carrier landings just like they would in real life..... Just for some critical distance: the F/A-18's main gear was built to withstand the fall of a Hornet's weight (not sure as to configured how) of up to 40'/ per second. The F-5 would smash all of it's gear through the tops of it's wings or nose trying to land like that. ~S
Art-J
Nah, If You like silly flightsim challenges and are not too anal about realism / historical accuracy, You will be able to operate this thing from a carrier, as Robin did :D: i7 9700K @ stock speed, single GTX1070, 32 gigs of RAM, TH Warthog, MFG Crosswind, Win10.
