Mission proceeds fine until asked to alter the flare count for Program B to 2. No amount of toggling the rocker gets the mission to continue. I've tried 3 times, being very careful to to register the rocker clicks. Another ghost trigger problem?

OK, I got through it, so no bug - just real fussy as to the timing of the clicks.

Hi sorry for digging this up but I believe there is an issue here. I am trying this because of a steam user who reports an issue with the CMS tutorial near those triggers: http://steamcommunity.com/app/223750/discussions/0/1473095331507143851/

 

Investigating this I got stuck too, only one step further than the user (and I think one before OP), see screen. You can't see, but the flare button is selected, unselecting it, increasing or decreasing flares etc. and trying to select it again did not advance the trigger.

 

It has been some while but I remember that the tutorials were generally sensitive with the timing of the triggers, but I was actually trying to look at that, not use trigger while voice file is still running etc.

 

edit: I was able to reproduce this a second time at the same step.

 

edit2: Work around! Turning off all CMS and on, and then cycling between chaff/flare advanced the trigger. I still maintain there is an issue with that trigger and new players will have a hard time figuring this out.

Same problem here. Just tried the CM training mission and nothing happens when I press the flare button. Surprised at the amount of bugs related to triggers etc on such a mature module. Very frustrating for someone trying to learn the plane
