Cockpit texturing question

Im currently making a cockpit texture mod for the MiG-29 to make it look a little more.. old and lived in :p First stage will be to change colors of the dash to a more dark grey color and alter some other items. Is there any easy way to change texture color but keep the original details?

If the developer released their photoshop template then this is usually easy, search here and see if it has what you need:

If not, it's very time consuming.

Thanks, but those are not cockpit templates ;)

What kind of software are you using? Photoshop? Solution depends on Software used. Usually, it should be blending modes.
