wasserschorle
I read the manual several times and tried to get a answer for this question but no luck, so I hope you can help me out here. Does the reference button on runway aligment even affect the preset take off course? As example, when I don't set up a flight path in the mission editor and enter my starting and landing airport through REF/LOLA, taxi to runway and press the reference button, do I need to align on the correct runway to prevent a nav system error? Or does the system doesn't bother when my nose is in the opposite direction? Sorry for the confusing question, but this reference system acts sometimes really weird even when the flightpath is correct set up. Regards. grunf
If your heading is more than 15 deg off of the entered one, the computer will assume you're on the opposite runaway.
fdswer
I have been having some problems and am not understanding something. On the 104th server I spawn go through all the start up and enter the Ls code. When I taxi to runway and hit the reference button I get a nav error and the heading indicator wiggles back and forth. The Ls still works and is accurate enough but its annoying.

So, as long I press the reference button on final aligment either in one of two possible runway directions, the system will be fine?
