funkyfranky
Sounds great. I will definitely try it out. Can anyone else confirm an increase in FPS? Knock-Knock
Nope, I didnt see any noticeable performance increase, or difference. But interesting with the 'Show Performance', to see the dump my performance headroom takes, with just shadows on low. Really wish we could get the shadows separated, so that we could have cockpit shadows on, while the rest of the world was off. - Jack of many DCS modules, master of none. - Personal wishlist: F-15A, F-4S Phantom II, JAS 39A Gripen, SAAB 35 Draken, F-104 Starfighter, Panavia Tornado IDS. | Windows 11 | i5-12400 | 64Gb DDR4 | RTX 3080 | 2x M.2 | 27" 1440p | Rift CV1 | Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS | MFG Crosswind pedals |

So this tool is mainly good for setting the pixel density etc without using the Oculus SDK? dburne
I had been having sensor disconnects running my Rift with the Innatek card with Fresco drivers, looking like this tool may have solved those disconnects for me... need more testing but looking good so far. StingerSharp
Would it be possible to see few screen shots of settings? Is it possible to zoom in rift? If yes where axis or a button can be sett. I cant find VR zoom anywhere in game settings. I am having hard time spotting ground targets in SU25T at ranges 2km+ I have supper sampling sett to 1.8 and models set to Large with no effect. I am sure I am doing something wrong. Knock-Knock
Interesting! So this tool is mainly good for setting the pixel density etc without using the Oculus SDK? Yea that is my feeling, and an easy to way to profile different titles with a given PD. Plus it seems to fix it for those that are having tracking and disconnect problems. Would it be possible to see few screen shots of settings? Is it possible to zoom in rift? If yes where axis or a button can be sett. I cant find VR zoom anywhere in game settings. Ill just quote myself from another thread They are adding dots in post since a few patches ago. Can see them trough fog for example, they are rendered on top. So at distance X, a dot of given size is rendered on top. This post processed dot disappears again, when given target is within around 1½-2km, give and take. I think this works quite nicely, and Id prefer they kept the post dot on until range 0, and maybe make it flicker (bright/dark) a little, as if light is bouncing off the target, like glare. Spotting planes at a distance is fairly easy now. But spotting them within that 1½-2km range is very very hard, I find. The more MSAA/PD (Pixel Density for VR) is added to this, the harder it becomes to spot, cause it blends with the surroundings. Well not sure about the post dot, since its post, but in VR, MSAA and PD has a huge effect on it. Less is better for spotting there. - Jack of many DCS modules, master of none. - Personal wishlist: F-15A, F-4S Phantom II, JAS 39A Gripen, SAAB 35 Draken, F-104 Starfighter, Panavia Tornado IDS. | Windows 11 | i5-12400 | 64Gb DDR4 | RTX 3080 | 2x M.2 | 27" 1440p | Rift CV1 | Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS | MFG Crosswind pedals |
