Parking brake

Recommended Posts

I have noticed that the parking brake isn't working as expected.

It works before first take-off but after one sortie I usually set the parking brake again and when I'm starting to taxi again the parking brake isn't doing anything to hold back the aircraft. It just roles away like I've would never had set the parking brake.

This doesn't really bother me there are far more important bugs to fix.

Keep up the good work LNS.

I know how to set the parking brake like that.

The issue occurs when after I have landed and sets the parking brake but even if the parking brake is set and I throttle up the aircrafts starts moving without any resistance from the brakes.

I have the opposite feeling, it's like it's always on. If I start rolling and pull back to ground idle, the aircraft will stop like if there is brakes applied. The nose wheel compress just before the stop. I could be wrong of course but why would it compress if it just rolled to a stop?
