Sim Flyer
Hello I do not know if this exist or if this is something that is on ED's to do list but since i got my VR headset mission planning have been starting to become a litle bit more difficult as i have to either keep taking off my headset everytime i have to write a set of coordinates down on a piece of paper or jump between the F10 map and the computer in the Viggen between every set of coordinates. What i mean with interactive kneeboard is like a piece of paper that we can write stuff on like coordinates or things needed for the mission while we are still in the cockpit or the F10 map. Dont know if i am the only one who would like this or if everyone else is happy the way it is

metzger
It would be a nice feature definitely :) But for me the rift's nose gap is big enough to be able to write/read something placed down on my knee without taking off the hmd. metzger
Yeah it is probably not the same for everyone. Anyway it would be great to have interactive kneeboard and to be able to read pdf and to flip more pages at once. fitness88
Does the kneeboard builder software work with Oculus Rift? Are you able to see the kneeboard in your VR goggles?
Los
FYI, the kneeboard function in vr works fine.
DayGlow
Would be great if there was a log of radio transmissions on the knee board that way you could review the 9 line as if you had wrote it down. Or have a 'scratchpad' that is a simple text log of radio calls. S D
Even just a couple of blank pages, on the kneeboard, that could be typed on with keyboard inputs. You would have to isolate any control inputs if that kneeboard page was active.
SpeedStick
A intractable kneeboard would be cool. Also try this: http://www.hellov.io/ Just tap vr-headset to tab out. Unfortunately it crashes my DCS. Seen others getting it to work. "Hard to imagine bigger engine. its got a beautiful face and an arse built like sputnik." - Pikey AKA The Poet, on 37 Viggen.
