Guys...

 

I need to contact with Heatblur Simulations about the Integrity Check issue, but in this time you can do this to run this mod properly:

 

• Uninstall or deactivate the mod in JGSME.
  
• Browse my mod: "...\DEVRiM DCS AJS-37 Viggen English Cockpit Mod v1.1\Mods\aircraft\AJS37" folder.
  
• You'll see the "Textures" folder. Delete it (at least, for now). There's only one (font.TGA) file in it (please check it, in case you delete wrong folder).
  
• Re-install the mod.
  

 

By doing this, you will pass the Integrity Check, but you'll see B, M or U (original) letters on dash, instead W, T and P.

v1.2 Integrity Check - OK. Found a way to pass integrity check for "destination letters" on the indicator (right dash), and increased size of letters to read easily (09/2017).

Is it possible to install this mod to the Saved Games folder as described here? I was able to get it partially installed by copying the Liveries folder here:

 

C:\Users\me\Saved Games\DCS\Liveries\AJS37cockpit 

With this, the text in the cockpit is in English, but I'm missing the Cockpit and Textures directories from the zip file, and I can't quite work out where they would exist within the Saved Games directory. I'm not sure what I'm missing out on without having those two extra directories.

I installed it to the Viggen in the actual DCS Version 1.5.8.12823, following exactly the instructions in the readme, but I dont get any options in the Viggen special tab in settings. Special tab for AJS37 is empty. I get the selection for the A-10C for example but not for the viggen.

On NTTR in version 2.2.0.12448 I have no problem selecting the English cockpit. Here it shows as it should (awesome work)!

After check I have a part of my cockpit in english but the rest is in Swedish and the menu to change the language of the cockpit is innacécible....

 

 

Anybody knows the name of the file to be edited to change the language manually ?

Yes, there's something wrong with Viggen nowadays I think (in DCS World v1.5.8)

 

No cockpit pull-down menu (and any options) in Special Tab.

 

We can directly inject the mod in module's path but Integrity Check won't allow you to use this mod in M.P.

A temporary fix to this bug is to copy the Options folder (H:\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World 2 OpenAlpha\Mods\aircraft\AJS37\Options) from your DCS World 2.0 install to the Viggen's directory in your normal DCS World install. If you don't have 2.0 installed, I've gone ahead and uploaded the folder here: http://www.mediafire.com/file/fgpg35qupsn3y3s/2.0OptionsFolder.zip I'm not sure what it is in these files that fixes this bug, as I was just kind of experimenting with trying to fix it, but I can only assume that there was a format change in the way the Special Options menu works, and that they updated it for 2.0, but then neglected to update it for 1.5.

Another quick solution:

 

After installed the mod properly;

 

Go to: "C:\Users\{your-user-name}\Saved Games\DCS.xxx\Config\" folder.

 

Open: options.lua

 

Find: ["plugins"] line

 

Find: ["AJS37"] = {

["CPLocalList"] = "default", line.

 

Change: default to English by Devrim

 

The mod will work again.

This mod will have many more translations than we will have done for the official one actually (we try to keep it a bit more limited in scope), so itll still be very useful. :)
