ED Team BIGNEWY Posted February 19, 2017 ED Team Share Posted February 19, 2017 Thanks Fulcrum, I have checked our system we do have a transport.dll issue related to ground units reported which I suspect is the problem here. Hopefully ED will have a fix for it soon. I would be happy to look at a track if you wish, after you have the crash follow these instructions: start a flight and wait for a crash Go to c:\Users\<User_name>\AppData\Local\Temp\DCS\ Find a file LastMissionTrack.trk Forum rules - DCS Crashing? ED Team BIGNEWY Posted February 19, 2017 ED Team Share Posted February 19, 2017 Thanks for the PM fulcrum As it was a large track it did not play back correctly, which can sometimes happen. I did run through the mission without a crash using one of our internal builds so that is good. I would recommend a clean up of your install and test without any modification just to see if you get a different result. go into your Eagle Dynamics/DCS World/bin folder. There, hold Left Shift and right click and click "Open Command window here." Then, type the following exactly as printed: DCS_updater.exe cleanup this will delete all non official files then do a dcs repair DCS_updater.exe repair hope it helps Forum rules - DCS Crashing? scotth6
Hi, I would like to just add my experience of two CTDs while using the Museum Relic campaign. Both CTDs seemed to occur after I had been changing views to watch other aircraft and weapons and then returned to my VC. Please see the following post for complete info. (Museum Relic Bug Reports - #26) https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3083648&postcount=26 The problem didn't occur when I stayed in my VC view, so I'm not sure if the view changes are related, but they seemed to be. 0414 Wee Neal
Hi ScottH6 i also experienced CTD when changing view (Alt/F1 in my case). After alot of investigations I traced it to an Nvidia driver issue see this thread: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=183419&page=2 Since using the 'Display Driver Uninstaller' programme my visuals have improved and CTD stopped. Not sure if this would help you? Neal 1 Desktop PC: Intel i9 9900K, Gigabyte MOBO, 32 GB RAM , GPU Nvidia RTX 2080 Windows 10, TM Warthog, Crosswind rudder peddles, Occulus Rift S.
