Hats off to RAZBAM! ***Campaign Spoilers Ahead*** ... but mission 12 spoiled the ending for me by triggering some dialogue before it should. I read through the switches and it looks like Flag 400 is used twice, first at "FL400 SPAWN SU-27" and then the second at "FL400 Berger Killed". When the flag is first activated, it sets into motion the dialogue for both events at the same time, basically skipping over a whole set up event that should happen prior to FL400 Berger Killed. steele6 Posted June 17, 2017 Share Posted June 17, 2017 Mission 12 bugs dialog errors Hi BD, I've just finished mission 12 of the official campaign. I play the current DCS.1.5. beta, 1) the dialog triggers appear to be slightly off: a) my character says a line reporting that Berger has been killed (or hit or missing - I can't remember) prior to it actually happening b) again, at the very end of the mission, I had just parked my mirage in the correct spot and my character repeats a strange line along the lines of urging himself and his co-pilot to get out of the AO with claw and get home (Again, it was right at the end of the mission) so in all I'd just quickly go over some of the dialog triggers and timings, make sure that they are appropriately on cue also, the briefing states that I am to anchor over WP 3, whereas Berger commands me anchor over WP 4 - then again I have to radio fang that I am ready to proceed after meeting at WP 3. so just double check the mission briefing and compare to the mission plan and dialog choices. Lastly, the enemy bandits are Mig 31's - yet what are reported are MiG 29's (although it appears a separate, non described group are the player's enemies when the player is tasked onto the enemy pop-up group) is that intentional? as a curious note, my mission debrief reported that my E3 plane was shot down by Mig-29's after we had successfully ex filtrated from the target area with claw - I didn't get any dialog cues, (and in real life this would be a failure of the highest proportions) I think this mission requires a little re-check. I feel that the distances involved being very short leave alot of enemies closer to the E3 and the timings of triggers closer to each other, then as alot of dialog comes from berger/player regarding firing missiles, teaching the migs lessons etc that the crucial radio report of berger going down is missed or its cue is replaced by a current radio dialog playing. Is there a way to give priority radio dialog sounds over others? if not - Should ED be approached to create one? Steele6 P.S. - took me a while to complete this mission due to the mig31's shooting me down. - and I feel they were weakened by being given only close range(IR) missiles, despite being Mig31's. - poor flying on my part! :P (as a comment on the campaign as a whole, defintely the best I've played so far and I'm keen to give a final report once I'm done.) baltic_dragon Posted June 19, 2017 Share Posted June 19, 2017 OK, found the bug with player calling early problems with Berger, and I think the last line you heard after landing was connected with that. Indeed there is a mix between WP 3 and 4, but both are already in VOs so not that easy to fix, but I will find a way. I'll check that E3 is set to invisible, that indeed would be a really bad outcome :) And as for reports on other flights you have Mig-29s, Su-31s and Su-27s all appearing in the mission :) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
