TAnker737
Oh man, That's a great feature. I wonder if I can have it show on the side like the zero indicator or in another monitor. BitMaster
I still wonder how the ancient sailors found their way with stars alone. We have degraded a lot with our natural capabilities that need no means or aid, just knowlwedge and a clear night sky. coldViPer
I just recently learned how to use doppler navigation and it is so fun to use and very accurate. I don't want gps! :P Btw it is quite fun to play campaigns without F10 icons and no map position markings :joystick: Asus Prime X570-P * Ryzen 5800X3D + Scythe Fuma cooler * RTX 3080 TUF OC 10Gb * G.Skill 32GB DDR4 3600MHz * Samsung 980 pro 1Tb + 2Tb nvme * Samsung 850 EVO 512Gb SSD * Corsair RM850x V2/2018 * HP Reverb G2 * CH Fighterstick/Pedals/Throttle * Win11

I think 50% skill and 50% luck American 'Indians' are 'Indians' because Columbus thought he'd arrived in the East Indies (a view he defended till he died), so he was only out in his calculation of his position by more than half the circumference of the earth Cheers. drPhibes
I just recently learned how to use doppler navigation and it is so fun to use and very accurate. I don't want gps! :P Btw it is quite fun to play campaigns without F10 icons and no map position markings :joystick: +1 as the kids say these days. I've been using the doppler nav for a few days, and it's an excellent system. Noting down waypoints with bearings and distances adds a bit more immersion to the whole DCS experience than just following a line on a display. GPS = cheating :P But I can't say that I won't use the moving map display in the Mi-24 when it arrives (whenever that may be).

YES, damn right !!! I am not gonna use GPS since it is contra my intention to fully learn the Mi-8 the way it comes, even if it takes 5 years.... but it's for sure a nice gadget many can use.
