westr
Would it be possible for someone to do a skin based on this colour scheme. Not fussed about the coding just the generic skin that you can apply code letters to. I appreciate that its a VIII not a IX but would mean a lot. :) RYZEN 7 3700X Running at 4.35 GHz NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080Ti 32gb DDR4 RAM @3200 MHz Oculus CV1 NvME 970 EVO TM Warthog Stick & Throttle plus 11" extension. Strider32
It's not the one with the shark mouth unfortunately. My one has the green in your picture but no camouflage. Here is a pic The code letters can be changed to anything although the serial cannot be changed by the tail due to EDs use of British serials Edited March 21, 2017 by Hornet_101 My Liveries https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/filter/user-is-Strider32/apply/ Intel Core i7-6700K @4.0 GHz | NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 Super 8GB | 8GB DDR4 x2 | Kingston 256GB SSD (OS Installed) | Crucial BX500 1TB SSD (DCS World Installed) | Toshiba 1TB HDD | Windows 10 64bit | LG 27" 75Hz Monitor | TM Warthog w/VIRPIL WarBRD Base | Saitek Pro Flight Pedals | Track IR

I look forward to downloading it. I'm specifically looking for a 54th sqn skin. It was the sqn my grandfather served in. I know that the Vc's in the sqn had a dark earth foliage green camo through pictures I have seen. I know that the sqn received VIIIs. Finding photos of a 54th VIII has proved really difficult. But like the picture in my first post I would assume that the same scheme was continued on the VIII airframe in the sqn. I also know through research that airframes were swapped between the squadrons in northern Australia. :) RYZEN 7 3700X Running at 4.35 GHz NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080Ti 32gb DDR4 RAM @3200 MHz Oculus CV1 NvME 970 EVO TM Warthog Stick & Throttle plus 11" extension. Strider32
I have uploaded a No. 54 Sqn Spitfire on the user files and it should be out soon. The code letters cant be changed because of how EDs serials work but it picked a Spitfire that has the most documentation. westr
Once I had the serial number I was able to read that this particular aeroplane spent its early life in the Sqn with its desert middle stone/Dark earth colours and wasn't changed to the brown/green till later so you've done your research this is spot on....
