Kendo
For [VR CENTRE KEY 5] Unless you remap to another key, I would say yes DCS numpad keys
Art-J
Well, technically, it doesn't 'require', as You can remap all numpad-related functions anywhere on the keyboard You want. There are people playing the sim on notebooks after all. I find the numpad too handy, however, to play without it. It's a subjective matter, though. i7 9700K @ stock speed, single GTX1070, 32 gigs of RAM, TH Warthog, MFG Crosswind, Win10.
iVVChewy9141VVi
Isn't the number pad section only really used for views and stuff?
grunf
Isn't the number pad section only really used for views and stuff? Yes, mostly. I think the throttle is mapped to +/-, but I'm not sure. Anyway, I don't use the numpad, my views are handled by trackir, and zoom is mapped to the hotas.
iVVChewy9141VVi
Yea, I have a HOTAS and Track IR. I see the mic aft and mic buttons are on it but that a again can be put to the HOTAS like they use in real life
iVVChewy9141VVi
The only reason I'm asking is because I'm getting a RGB keyboard at a good deal. Which does not include the Num Pad. This will help clean up desk and stuff. Also i will have some other way of adding buttons since I'm getting the Razer game pad that lets you assign macros
BitMaster
I used a MacbookPro 15" and it worked, no Numpad on that one either. You have to remap a few maybe but totally possible...and yeah that RGB stuff is great, I hate non-lit keyboards meanwhile, used to Laptops that have lit kb's Gigabyte Aorus X570S Master - Ryzen 5900X - Gskill 64GB 3200/CL14@3600/CL14 - Asus 1080ti EK-waterblock - 4x Samsung 980Pro 1TB - 1x Samsung 870 Evo 1TB - 1x SanDisc 120GB SSD - Heatkiller IV - MoRa3-360LT@9x120mm Noctua F12 - Corsair AXi-1200 - TiR5-Pro - Warthog Hotas - Saitek Combat Pedals - Asus PG278Q 27" QHD Gsync 144Hz - Corsair K70 RGB Pro - Win11 Pro/Linux - Phanteks Evolv-X
