Was wondering how they crossed the Atlantic Ocean. Did not know about yesterday's stopover. They will return April 22 and 23, 2017 for a private air show. I won't miss them, then. cichlidfan
Was wondering how they crossed the Atlantic Ocean. From the article you linked. The transatlantic crossing consisted of 7 legs, with stops in Scotland, Iceland, Greenland, and then Goose Bay in Labrador and CFB Bagotville in Quebec. While in Bagotville, the crews stored the wing-mounted drop tanks that they used for the crossing. They will retrieve them in early May for the trip home.
