Is it realistic to operate with it in more complex situations? And is it to pilot's choice or something you operate by book in specific circumstances?

All SAU mods are at pilot's disposal: use them as you see fit, within their limitations. There are some recommendations stated in the Flight manual ("turn stabilization on"), but they tend to be too restrictive and no one actually follows them literary, except for the takeoff maybe (stabilization on).

Anyway, stabilization can be used whole flight, regardless of nature of fight, as long as the SAU is operating normally (which might depend on other systems; concern engine failure for example).

Power through superb knowledge, training and teamwork.

The MiG-21bis has sure had it's ups and downs since release (got it on day 1!), but finally this is how I would expect the real thing to fly. All that nasty strange behaviour is gone now... and it feels like a fighter again. Robust and handles well (like the IRL counterpart). This might be the best FM patch, and judging by the forum posts I am not alone thinking that. Not to mention that the FPS/performance seems to be a lot better aswell. Great work Dolphin887 and the rest of the Magnitude 3 team! Please don't break it by overtweaking things ;)
