Here is a documentary about the allied bombing campaign during WWII. Very interesting and enlightening movie. It gives perspective as to how realistic a flight sim is not. There is no way I will ever know how hard these guy's lives were during this time.

Whew!!!! I'm thankful for that.

Here is a documentary about the bombing and firebombing of Clydebank on the nights of 13th and 14th of March 1941, not many military targets were hit there.

My grandpa was 11 years old as the allies bombed Dresden (where I was born and lived until 11 years ago, he still lives there). The house he lived in was hit by a fire bomb and collapsed. The other two buildings/ doores left and right to it took no damage. He and his mother (his dad was stationed on the east front at this time) had to move to his ant. Two of his friends died this night.

 

Earlier this year he gave me a sightseeing tour to this place and some other places, he lived in his early years. I loved it to listen to him and his stories. Unbelievable how this had to be.
