cichlidfan
What other places of the United States would you think could suit the DCS world? I would say none in terms of a viable or realistic scenario. NTTR only exists because of it's usefulness as a training environment, and the fact that ED committed to producing it back when the A-10C was a standalone product. If it weren't for that special situation I doubt it would have been entertained as a possibility. ASUS ROG Maximus VIII Hero, i7-6700K, Noctua NH-D14 Cooler, Crucial 32GB DDR4 2133, Samsung 950 Pro NVMe 256GB, Samsung EVO 250GB & 500GB SSD, 2TB Caviar Black, Zotac GTX 1080 AMP! Extreme 8GB, Corsair HX1000i, Phillips BDM4065UC 40" 4k monitor, VX2258 TouchScreen, TIR 5 w/ProClip, TM Warthog, VKB Gladiator Pro, Saitek X56, et. al., MFG Crosswind Pedals #1199, VolairSim Pit, Rift CV1

Buzzles
What other places of the United States would you think could suit the DCS world? None currently. There's an entire world out there, full of countries which are much more interesting than the 'states. Fancy trying Star Citizen? Click here! Boris
I don't think we need any more US maps. What we really need are more combat theatres that fit the aircraft that we have and those that are in development: Vietnam Korea Middle East - Afghanistan / Syria / Iraq Eastern Europe PC Specs / Hardware: MSI z370 Gaming Plus Mainboard, Intel 8700k @ 5GHz, MSI Sea Hawk 2080 Ti @ 2100MHz, 32GB 3200 MHz DDR4 RAM Displays: Philips BDM4065UC 60Hz 4K UHD Screen, Pimax 8KX Controllers / Peripherals: VPC MongoosT-50, Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS, modded MS FFB2/CH Combatstick, MFG Crosswind Pedals, Gametrix JetSeat OS: Windows 10 Home Creator's Update
Hawkeye60
Vietnam Korea Middle East - Afghanistan / Syria / Iraq Eastern Europe ______________ This! 1 "Yeah, and though I work in the valley of Death, I will fear no Evil. For where there is one, there is always three. I preparest my aircraft to receive the Iron that will be delivered in the presence of my enemies. Thy ALCM and JDAM they comfort me. Power was given unto the aircrew to make peace upon the world by way of the sword. And when the call went out, Behold the "Sword of Stealth". And his name was Death. And Hell followed him. For the day of wrath has come and no mercy shall be given."
shagrat
Even Africa would be faaaaaaar more interesting. Ruanda, Angola, Egypt, Libya, Tunisia, Aidan, Somalia, Tchad, Sierra Leone, etc. My personal priority would definitely be Afghanistan, or Irak/Iran/ Syria. An extension of the Caucasus map to the south (Turkey) and/or east (Azerbaijan/Karabach) would be interesting as well. Yes, Alaska, Florida, New Mexico and a dozen other places in the US are used to train the military, but any realistic "war" scenario won't make sense. It may better fit a third "Red dawn" remake... ;) Shagrat - Flying Sims since 1984 - Win 10 | i5 10600K@4.1GHz | 64GB | GeForce RTX 3090 - Asus VG34VQL1B | TrackIR5 | Simshaker & Jetseat | VIRPIL CM 50 Stick & Throttle | VPC Rotor TCS Plus/Apache64 Grip | MFG Crosswind Rudder Pedals | WW Top Gun MIP | a hand made AHCP | 2x Elgato StreamDeck (Buttons galore)
