SnowTiger Posted April 12, 2017 Share Posted April 12, 2017 Every time I go in to look at my purchased modules (and their license keys etc), DCS keeps asking me if I want to install DCS Ka-50 Upgrade. I originally purchased Ka-50 1 and then purchased the Upgrade to v2. Later I actually purchased the Full Version 2 of the same Module just to (hopefully) avoid issues with the 1st version and Upgrade version at a later date. So I really don't need those 2 versions. I only need, want and use the Full Version 2 of Ka-50. So I'd like to do something so DCS doesn't keep asking me if I want to install the Upgrade .. since I don't need it !! Please Help. Copy your upgrade key into this box and click the check button. The next screen will have a button labeled 'Unbind from current login'. Click it. When I follow the unbind directions above and confirm, it says, "One or more parameters are invalid." I don't see anything else I need to fill out, as I'm not binding it to another account. SnowTiger Posted April 13, 2017 Author Share Posted April 13, 2017 I noticed the same thing AT LEAST for the original Ka-50 (which I think was wiped from history a couple years ago ... for good reason). But I'm pretty sure it worked for the Upgrade License. At least I did input the license and hit UnBind. I just haven't checked my mods list yet to see if the update installer is gone. There is a module that I really want to unbind so that I don't have to make sure to uncheck it every time that I use the Module Manager, so I guess I am stuck too. It sure would be nice if they would modify the web site to indicate this. That would take all of a five second edit of the page. And here all this time I thought that purchasing the BS 2 FULL VERSION license was going to Eliminate all future issues !! WRONG Again ! I replaced my BS2 upgrade with the full version as well. However, I transferred my upgrade key to someone else, years ago, so that one isn't an issue for me. Did you try this: The easiest way is to go to the Module Manager, select the Installed tab and clear the checkbox. It's the same question, dunno if the solution is still valid. Every time I go into the Mod Manager that silly Check Box would show up asking to install or not. You can UN Check it as many times as you like but the next time you jump into DCS and open the Mod Manager, there the little devil will be .... just to tick me off !!
