Why does experimental stuff like this make it onto the stable 1.5 version of the game ? For an Alpha or beta I can understand, but I should have to start uplug stuff off my machine or start removing batteries from devices to play the full release version of the game...

Ummmm - The touch controllers are not plugged in, they are wireless. Do you actually have any?

Yes. Still in the box though. I haven't gotten around to setting them up and assumed there was a USB transceiver.

Nothing personal, but that is the problem with forums like this - people posting suggestions/fixes for things they literally know nothing about. I realise you were just trying to help :helpsmilie:.

You actually need to hide your touch controllers away completely out of sight of the sensors (I hide mine in my PC desk drawer), or else you get 2 huge gloves floating in midair.

Which, I may add, do absolutely nothing apart from graphically highlight how badly DCS is currently displaying world scale in VR.

As DCS World never said it supported the touch system, where is the issue you are describing? You don't need or want touch controllers for DCS World. Simple fix really, wouldn't you agree?

As for hiding them in a drawer, it doesn't work. Until you activate the touch controllers, their location isn't in sync, so they often appear on screen despite being squirrelled away someplace.

That's why I said removing the batteries is the best method to use.

This guy obviously bought a returned Oculus Rift that went back to the store. Nobody went through the controllers and took the batteries out so they're they are sitting there probably for a couple of days transmitting energy until he pulled his out of the box and then they automatically turned on. It's very simple. Hide them under your desk and then eventually they time out and go to sleep. This is not a big deal guys. The gloves one day will hopefully work with VR gloves that have yet to be developed. Until then take your panties off.
