Nothing works for me, all or new updater admin or not nothing change, not able to update, location Paris France, 6pm French tilme

and it still to the old version.

you can check wich one is your local ED server in the log file autoupdate_log.txt

Brilliant...

 

I updated. I started the game. It said new version available, do you wanna udpate to 2.05? Hell no. I log in, no maps are available. I hit repair, I get an error log saying update not available. I hit update, update to 2.05. I hit repair. I cannot log in. I run the game, now it updates to 2.1 again. Come on.....

 

I will ask ED about that, give me some time

im pretty sure i just reinstalled 2.0 with that new updater link. No 2.1 version tho....

If they are indeed staggering the update, maybe it will allow those that are downloading quicker download speeds which would be a good thing.

Now I logged in but back to square one - Normandy is not available. when I try to do a repair, it says "2.1blablabla is not available" :(

Confirmed that this appears to have worked for me, although I made sure to back up my copy, as ot says very explicitly at the top of that file (if you open it), that editing it could damage your installation.

 

But it did seem to force the installer to recognize that there was an update and to download it. I just fear that this is only because this file contains the data on the currently installed version, so it may be downloading 2.0 again

my exact thoughts. it has the manifest of the modules. plus, it said do not edit (inside the file).

keep calm guys. it's definitly not a good idea, you will redownload every thing you have ever, and nothing new, if your local server is not yet up to date.

currently some users are updating to 2.1 then it tells them to revert to 2.0.5 which it shouldn't ed are looking into it

 

if it is updating to 1.5 something is wrong usually the result of messing with your autoupdate.cfg

Akkkk, I'm glad I backed up that file before deleting it. I stopped the download, returned the file to the folder, and I ran the repair tool
