Updated but how do I get the module manager to download?

I managed to get the DCS Alpha to update to 2.1.0.5677 but when I go to the module manager I am not getting the prompt to install the modules. What should I do?

STATUS: Initializing...
INFO : basedir: C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World

EDIT: you are running the updater from openalpha, but your working dir is dcsw1, thus the results...

This fixed it for me, ED should probably make it a sticky or something = less digging required for others.

go into your Eagle Dynamics/DCS World/bin folder.

There, hold Left Shift and right click and click "Open Command window here."

(NOTE: the new windows 10 has moved to powershell, in powershell type cmd )

then one at a time use

DCS_updater.exe install NORMANDY_terrain

DCS_updater.exe install WWII-ARMOUR

Actually, it will be more efficient to do

Code:

DCS_updater.exe install NORMANDY_terrain WWII-ARMOUR

Anyone have any idea why my DCS wont just update itself to 2.1 as its stuck on 2.0.5? Any ideas? I tried running the updater via command prompt and still no update either. Cant even get to 2.1 yet :(

EDIT : Seems like I had to run the repair before it would update.

No,this doesn't work for me,and I have used the updater in the past, mind you the original command window has now gone and I now have a utility called 'open Powershell window here' presumably the same thing but it doesn't work, not on my rig anyway.

Off to bed now, have waited around too long downloading to 2.1 to wait around trying to get the Normandy map and WW2 assets pack to show up in the module manager.

I can't say I'm over impressed with the situation, will see if anything has changed tomorrow.
