Lenux
So, Mariana Island is the secret map ? It looks amazing, but imo, it's pretty small. 388 square miles. About the size of L.A. ? Even smaller. twistking
If the area would indeed stretch up to pagan island (or further) that would be absoulutely fantastic, as pagan has an active airstrip. I'm really excited about this map. i was hoping for midway/hawaii, but this could be as good!! I just hope, we'd also get a WWII retrofit of the map. Maybe too much to ask though?! Reflected
I can't believe how some people are always disappointed, no matter ED announces or shows us. These screenshots look amazing, a refreshing change from everything we currently have in DCS. Oh, and all this for free? Looking forward to the details in the newsletter! twistking
What war scenerio does this map present? Who are the blue and red forces? the red forces are vulcanos, or vulcanic islands (evil), the blue forces are good oldfashioned islands without fancy vulcanic activity. Tom Kazansky
And for those who find the map too small: it is 36,000 feet deep. Ok we still have to wait for drivable subs in combined arms to benefit from this. ;)
