pagadi-zaiet Posted June 17, 2017 Posted June 17, 2017 We fixed some incorrect textures being loaded in autumn season for the Normandy map. We have also been cleaning up some geometry mesh errors in this map. We have added Create Fast Mission support to the Normandy map. Our next step will be to add an "era" function to allow you to determine the time period of units that are generated. New World War II assets continue to be developed at a brisk pace. We are now in the final stages of completing the 155mm Gun Motor Carriage M12 and the A-20 Havoc attack aircraft. These are AI units. 2

lemoen Posted June 17, 2017 Posted June 17, 2017 My fps is great. what is your system specification? You have a really fast machine. My FPS is decent too but I too have a 4.7GHz CPU and a 1070 8GB . On 1.5 I can run on triple 1080p monitors and on 2.1 I can only do 1 of them, else the framerate goes bye bye. I'll try to see tonight what the deal is but I think there are some things in the new version that are pretty hard on GPUs
Quadg Posted June 17, 2017 Posted June 17, 2017 in the old days you had to buy a new gaming rig every 3 years to keep up with frame rates. everyone needed a new rig when crysis came out. anyway its an alpha. optimising for frame rates happens after you finish adding all the content.. so surprise, they are still adding content... OP that's why you should care about it.. its one step closer to optimising. My Rig: AM5 7950X, 32GB DDR5 6000, M2 SSD, EVGA 1080 Superclocked, Warthog Throttle and Stick, MFG Crosswinds, Oculus Rift.

Well, yes and no, since it is an open alpha it is up to us to report things that are broken, needs optimizing, or give feedback as to how they can make our user experience better. Else, there is no reason to have an open alpha like this. We're effectively helping them test. There are so many more of us than there are devs in ED, that a lot of the things we experience they probably never have or will, unless we tell them about it. So telling people "something something, its an alpha" is not useful. It is there so we can give feedback.
pagadi-zaiet Posted June 17, 2017 Author Posted June 17, 2017 My fps is great. what is your system specification? Hi boss, I have spec no worries, made me broke lol 1080 ti , 7700oc @4.9. I got an ASUS rog 34 inch for a bit of fun outside my CV1 but my real passion is VR. I have had way better performance in 2.0 than in 2.1. Hope devs are reading!!

Add a screenshot of your settings, we may find some tweaks. Hi boss, I have spec no worries, made me broke lol 1080 ti , 7700oc @4.9. Also add a screenshot of your settings, it will help ED also if you can, try without the overclock, I have seen users using overclocks with negative effects in DCS Users have different experiences on different machines, give the devs as much information as possible, it will help them optimise. Performance will go up and down during the alpha so expect a bumpy ride. Forum rules - DCS Crashing?
