[Video] Forest Fire & Fire Helicopters in Adrasan/Turkey (2016)

Hi. This video was captured by me in last year. There was a forest fire and I got this images with my Samsung S5 on June 26th 2016.

 

The helicopters are Mi-8 and Ka-27, right?

Aahhh, the old memories....

 

The coax is not Ka-27, it's Ka-32. Basically the same airframe but civilized with all the military equipment removed. I worked on those in the past, more than 10 years ago. Spent one summer in Turkey doing forest fire fighting. We were based at Marmaris but we covered large area - north up to Aydin, east up to Antalya. Here how it looks from the inside, collecting water from the sea near Kusadasi:

Negative, sir. I downgraded myself to commercial fixed wing :D

 

For the record, I haven't worked on Ka-26, only 32.

Hey Devrim, that is awesome. I have only been able to see ka32 from far over Seoul some few years ago. I am not even sure their police is still flying the 32 these days. :cry:
