Gamma setting?

I would suggest just play with it and fly, to see what looks best for you.

I have mine at 1.3. but I fly in VR and with Deferred Shading it is pretty bright by default, I have found 1.3 for me in VR - at least on the Normandy map, looks best for me.

LOL....I have changed mine several times already. I think that it's very much about personal preference, and what's going on in game. I think it will be getting a lot of use from me depending on the time of day and mission I'm flying.

One thing that I'm sure of is that I like it

I have to have gamma on 1.0 with DS off in VR else it is far too bright on NTTR map. With DS on the game is completely unplayable - super white and washed out at 1.0 Gamma with severe judders looking sideways and gentle rolls.

I find it to appear very white when first on the runway, once airborne ( in Normandy) it looks very nice. I have gamma slider at 1.3 and flying in VR.

1.6 here on a flatscreen, but will probably experiment a lot with other values. The best thing about the feature is it can be adjusted "on the fly" without exiting the mission.

Well that is a much appreciated feature. As it is frustrating if you have to restart etc. Like they added audio option.

During flight press ESC than go to options and you should have two tabs: audio and system. Gamma settings are in system tab ofc.

Good to know, I had not realized this.
