gavagai Posted June 22, 2017 Posted June 22, 2017 Couple questions, I am going to visit a friend who is setting up 3 machines for side-by-side flight sims. Am I allowed to activate a module on a machine that is not my own, and while my own machine still has modules activated? Or should I deactivate modules on my machine at home before I leave? Thanks! Automan Posted June 22, 2017 Posted June 22, 2017 You must deactivate the module before leave home. Moreover, on the friend's machine, you must login DCS using your account to reactivate the product. cichlidfan Posted June 22, 2017 Posted June 22, 2017 Actually, the module can be activated on both machines at the same time. You can't play MP from both machines at the same time, but that does not sound like an issue. You will use up another activation regardless whether you deactivate it or not. 1 ASUS ROG Maximus VIII Hero, i7-6700K, Noctua NH-D14 Cooler, Crucial 32GB DDR4 2133, Samsung 950 Pro NVMe 256GB, Samsung EVO 250GB & 500GB SSD, 2TB Caviar Black, Zotac GTX 1080 AMP! gavagai Posted July 30, 2017 Author Posted July 30, 2017 You must deactivate the module before leave home. Moreover, on the friend's machine, you must login DCS using your account to reactivate the product. In case this ever shows up in a forum search, the above advice seems correct. I did not deactivate my modules and I could not even log-in on my friend's machines. An error message would appear about an incorrect key.
