Nickkerkwijk
Hello, my name is Nick and I am fairly new to pc gaming. I always used a console before. I have an old pc that i am using for DCS 1.5 / 2.1 (my first PC 'game' that i seriously play). Most of the setting are on medium with HDR and all that kind of stuff are off. I also use TrackIR 5 and a HOTAS T flight 4. When i'm at an airfield the FPS go from 55 to 35 with sometimes stuttering. When flying in the desert the FPS are sometimes 100+ (?) with framedrops to around 45 FPS. Going from a TV to a 1080p monitor already improved the experience alot:) When playing singleplayer it runs better than in MP. (almost no stuttering and some settings can be put on high) My pc specs are: AsrockH81M - DGS R2.0 I5 2400 8 GB RAM R9 285 MSI GPU I know that it is an outdated system, but is this system worth an 'upgrade' if I buy a GTX 970/1060? Or a complete new pc? Excuse my bad English, Nick [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
