I fly a lot of R/C. Bummer, but you have to accept it with this hobby. Crashes are gonna happen.

Pilot throttle error and prolly no onboard glow-plug battery that fed the plug when at lower RPM, my guess. Still...what a pitty :(

SOunds like 3 MOKI Radials to me. It is no biggy if one cylinder quits as long as you can heat the plug up in flight, it will burn clean and fire again..usually. Just be slow on the throttle. It might be hard to hear that with 3 engines, with 1 engine this is easier and actually a common thing with i.e. OS 4-cylinder inline engines, one always quits in flight...baahhh.

I flew R/C for like 20 years, I know how they felt...GIMME A BEER AND A SCHNAPS AND SHUT UP !

The pic is from the Oldtimer FlyIn @ Hahnweide 2003. I was lying in the grass just behind the end of the strip when the 3 Tante Ju's flew over us. I will never forget that sound and moment.

The only thing that topped it was a Bf109 over my head in 2005, that Turbo screams and cries like nothing I had heard before and after. The only pic of that plane I have is on ground, I was in a shock & awe state and couldnt take any pic when it flew later that day...just look with my mouth wide open. I drove 750km just to see that bird fly for 15min...never ever regretted it, one of the last ones flying.
