Looking for the author of ATF-C: OPERATION ALLIED FORCE

In the user files he goes by KappinHook, but we all know how those never line up with the forums. I am trying to get ahold of him because I want to build more sub missions I. The mission but I need his lua file to do so otherwise I am shooting in the dark.

 

Anyone know him/her or were I can get ahold of him/her?

Download the mission, rename the .miz file to a .zip file and extract all of the goodness.

I tried but the sub missions lua file is not in there. I think the mission editor just put the code into the mission file.

So then it follows that a "sub mission" lua doesn't exist in the mission file. What you get in the .miz file is the entirety of the mission.

Lua files for missions get placed in the l10n/default folder within the miz file. So that is where you will find the MsnData.lua. You will also see any audio and briefing files in there.

 

As far as the mission itself goes, its not super complicated. The lua file it runs on spawning a group is simply to display the briefing for a given task. The actual spawning is just done with triggers.
