I don't see this problem on my system.

The doors animate either as part of a mechanimations table (which doesn't exist in the Cessna 210 lua file), or possibly as part of an argument attached to the activation of one of the lights (i.e., "argument = 38"). That door you show as open is animation argument 38 in the shapes file.

Anyway, seems like your setup/system has something funky going on.

In adding moving / static units not only RAT ones in the mission for realism, from some time, C210N's problem came again.

I placed multiple Client jets and helicopters I can choose one of them to ride.

I'll try to build a minimum mission reproducing that bug.

Hi, HawaiianRyan and other members.
Thanks again your efforts.

After weeks, I found what I mistook in editing RAT lua files.

I added extra installed liveries' names in RAT lua liveries lines ... and .... my fault was adding also "B" variants in Dim-On Marianas liveries pack.
His C210P liveries contain "Door opened" variants for static display. Description.lua files contain argument line forcing the left door opened.
I missed that folder names with "B" means those Door open ones and not to write in RAT scripts.

Now my problem is solved.

CAM's DC-10 might have a visual glitch in its lod01.edm data.
Material assignment was forgotten before model exporting ?

When the camera is far 1000 meters from the DC-10 and its showing model is switched to lod01, the livery skin chosen is ignored and default swissair skin is seen.
Its red tail fin looks prominent even from 1000 meters far ....

Perhaps lod01.emd re-exporting is needed. 

MAM's KC-10 model doesn't have the same issue. Its lod01 looks reflecting the livery texture, btw.

Hi, Urbi.

Anyway ? MV might not reproduce lod01 material typo , may occur only in DCSW missions ?? I'm not sure ...

The dc_10_lod01.edm file you posted is the same to I have as CAM v0.86.
Its material name is MAM_KC-10 instead of Douglas_DC_10 .

As temporary solution, assign same livery dds textures to both materials "Douglas_DC_10" and "MAM_KC-10" in description.lua , I've found , not smart and will be wasted after lod01.edm will be correctly re-exported.

Could whomever did the original civilian aircraft mod please contact me?

 

I'd like to make improvements/expansions but want to preserve as much of the original as possible, especially relevant 3D models.

 

I'd also like to contribute several thousands of $$$US to expanding the stable of aircraft with high-poly models and I want there to be a centralized/coordinated effort to this.

The A330 is part of the latest version of the mod 0.87, website indicate 0.81 but the link will allow you to download the 0.87

I've been toying with various parameters for the past several months across these airframes, including lights. There's more to do, I just haven't gotten around to the tedium involved in fixing the remaining problems as I see them.

 

Today I added thrust reversers to the aircraft that have them (these are not 3D animated, but they are nonetheless functional within the simulation environment). Particularly useful on older maps which have fairly short runways all things considered.

 

I figured there's a cadre of folks outside of DCS Academy who like to keep up with my unofficial updates, so here they are.

 

Please do not ask me for support installing these files -- I offer these to the broader DCS community to improve the community, not as an invitation for you to ask me for technical support.

My other models ( DC-9 / MD-80 , ERJ-145/135BJ ) are not made their polygons separated as cram-shell / open-able their reverser doors.
When I'll rebuild 3d polygons .... umm

A couple of RAF A330 Liveries including the Current RAF VIP, Current Falkland Island Airbridge provided by AirTanker and bog standard Voyager, plus a fictional light Voyager. 

None of these are proper in game tankers, the Mod does not support that as far as I am aware.

I understand ... that's not a big issue for me, as I use CAM mostly to add background air traffic on my missions, the air refueling I do with the standard DCS tankers 🙂

It would require the refueling pods to be attached to the A330 and the Mod updated for the RAF Voyager version, the Mod is a pure airliner at present with no refueling capability.  The AirTanker version being used as the RAF Airbridge to the Islands are air tanker capable but I have not seen one with pods attached, yet, but I am sure they can be so fitted.  The Company blurb says that is their purpose, and to support the RAF Voyager Air Tankers.

B747's skin can be published soon.
DC-10 (trib. MD-11F) 's is not. Its panel lines and wheathered layers have not been retouch for 8k.

I'll try N8 National ones in the future ( ... not soon, not near ).
That charter airline works for + with US military.
