Seems like DCE is broken again after the latest patch?

 

After I quit a mission, some error message pops up and no new mission is created.:cry:

Are new version of these beautiful campaings coming to the Caucasus as well? Specifically for the F-14:D

 

 

 

Yes but it will be a hard campaign : US fleet alone against Russians occupying Georgia : fleet defense will be the main job for the Cat ;)

Anything say is fine PBO. A couple of small suggestions: If you have two carriers, don't have them so close that flying in pattern on one takes you over the other (Seperate them by 5 nm), and also that the carrier group is a bit out to sea (Not cruising just outside the coast). I can make these edits myself ofc, just a humble suggestion.

Ok. So that fixed the error at the end of missions, but the FirstMission.bat still gives me errors.

 

 

I didn't understand, did you have administrator rights or did you put them now?

 

because, we had a solution when the person to remove the admin rights of DCS.

 

Anyway, your bug must come from a file or folder permission problem.

DCE can't write/overwrite the Status/camp_status.lua file

 

Tries to delete the Status/camp_status.lua file and restart firsMission.bat

Dedicated server - Mission installation procudure as in instruction. mods,aircraft,f14.....

DCS Open Beta, latest.

 

The problem occurs when running the mission in a dedicated server, but it works ok when running it locally. I have no idea why. :helpsmilie:

 

Im sure someone with a dedicated server can replicate this.

 

I'm ready to test any possible fixes.

Campaign: Tomcat over Persian Gulf-CVN : F-14B Tomcat campaign over Persian Gulf (CVN-Carl Vinson) - New V11.01.0

Problem: Getting "Your flight is delayed to start, please wait" when joining F-14 flight on a carrier when hosting the mission with DCS World 2.5 Open Beta Dedicated Server.

Haaaaaaaaaaa, okay, I finally understand your problem.

 

So, the problem is not a bad generation of multiplayer mission, but a single mission that you host on a dedicated server... is that it?

 

So already, DCS has a problem with the number of slots on CVN. There are only 4 places, BUT, an F14 reserves 2 places, even if it is only an AI (well I think), so overall you can only have 2 F-14 at the same time (AI or Player or Client) on a single CVN.

 

Secondly, I don't know how DCS manages a single mission in host. I'd have to run some tests.

If it is the number of slots and therefore F14 that is problematic, you can limit the number of F-14 in Init/conf_mod :

On the other hand, I do not use the dedicated server.

 

Maybe you can try to create your missions in multiplayer, with a single plane, like this:

Regarding the "Eagle over Caucasus: V11.0.7 (Flaming Cliff version)" campaign. I installed it according to manual but in the F-15 folder (I do not own FC3 but both the F-15 and the Su-27). The campaign for the latter works fine but when trying to load Eagle over Caucaus the following error message pops up:

"Warning: Need modules for load mission: USN-Deckcrew"

How can I fix this, i. e. where can I get the required assets from (currently playing on the stable Steam release).

Cef must have forgotten the Deck crewman for the CVN decoration.

Are the BAT files broken with the last Open Beta version? (39384) Bat files seem to close right away without any errors, cant generate new, skip or fix.

 

FIXED: Had a registry key Exit the CMD as soon as it was run by default, probably some leftover code of something i installed recently. Everything works correctly now.

Would it be possible for the script to send out a KC-130 and KC130MPRS every mission, or maybe look at the packages going out and mod it for those? For the F16 campaign i had to change the 171st sq to KC-130, and there are some missions where only the KC130MPRS goes out.
