Question when you have the time, loving the campaigns and engine, you guys rock BTW!

 

Ok so I would like to play out the entire 2-3 hours of a mission, say I complete my task and I go back to SC to rearm, my ai boys always despawn. Ok so I know the despawn option in configuration but I'd like to keep the other ai clear. Is it possible I don't know if it's engine or mission side, but if it's mission I imagine I can add a run script advanced with an if player group =*, don't despawn. 

 

Can we do that? I don't mind editing in the planner screen if so. I imagine it's an ez option to end to the backend and throw in an option on the campaign config. That'd be a cool feature. Thanks for you're help guys! Good job.

We could do something like this, that your AI wingmen are not despawned, but...

what would be the point?
SC will despawn them himself or send them to the hold/hangar with the elevators.

And if not, could you ask them to rearm? I'm not sure if DCS can do that...

I´m curious to know if you guys now finaly handed over to 2.7 stable with all the campaigns, or do you want to stick with the open beta?

Ok so SC handles that? Yeah, I'm trying to get them to rearm but they disappear pretty quick, I guess I'll try the rearm and refuel radio command. Only played SC for a little bit.

In my opinion, whether it's SC, Stennis or an Airbase, if you land with your wingmen, you can't get them to refuel afterwards.

Try creating a simple mission with the mission editor, and we'll talk about it ^^

Yeah I remember playing way back in 2015 with a10 I think you could. Don't even have an option here. Manual says if you reload and refuel they will too but I think you're right about SC, just takes them to park. I just tried to send them rtb and they decided to fly out over the ocean into infinity. So 6 years on I can they've really made great strides with ai.... lol.

for the moment we will stay on the OB

We are not looking at whether DCE is compatible with the stable, but you can try, if you want.

Today 2.7 Stable = 2.7 OpenBeta. Same build, no difference whatsoever.
As for the campaigns, I don't know.

I think static aircrafts missing uncontrolled flag - they appear "alive" with crew strapped into cockpits.

How is this supposed to work please?

I defined parkings for suadron and it have no effect at all. Planes spawned on different parkings.

you have parking for large planes, fighters and helicopters

Hello~ long time no see. I've modified your PG campaign a bit these days, and I'm enjoying DCE so much. Anyway, I think bombing the SAM site is DCE's main strike mission. However, it often happens that missions are created to strike the SA-11 or SA-10 without SEAD support. Is it possible to improve this part? Thank you for always.

Did you set in conf_mod the option
"StrikeOnlyWithEscorte" option
to true?
