Small update to Cyprus Incident-Mirage campaign : I forget to change one end campaign condition when Mirage Squadron strength is under 2.

This needs to restart a campaign unless you modify the camp_triggers.lua file in Active folder  : find "Campaign End Loss" and replace   "450 M-E/P-1" by "EC 331" then  select skip mission with Manager.

Have a bug with Falcon over PG. You fly out of Al Baghda (or something like that). The airfield has two runways and the briefing reports an ILS frequency for all four directions. On the F10 map there are only two freq mentioned, one for each direction, and the frequency’s do not match the briefed freq’s.

No big deal of course.

Another issue that sometimes happens is that AI-flights cannot turn towards a waypoint and then start to circle the waypoint. This is usually the waypoint after the egress waypoint. The one that is pretty close to the egress point. 
 

Last one. The last couple missions where night missions. AI flights didn’t attack their targets. I know that has been an issue in the past so it is possible that ED never fixed it.

I've uploaded my campaign into the DCS user files section and waiting for it to be authorised.  Due to adding various other aircraft into the mission I've had to update the UTIL_data file within the ScriptsMod.NG.  This will need to be overwritted with the file I have attached.

we have retrieved the ILS heading/frequency information from this file, for the moment I can't check the F10 map

I do not understand the question,
the only thing I added is a circle for the escorts, so that they wait for the strikes at the egress and do not leave without them.

we have found some bugs with F18 and laser guided bombs, this will be fixed with the next patch.
For the problem of the night, I don't know.

That is not what I mean. This happens when the AI reaches a waypoint, switches to next waypoint but cannot make the turn so the effect is it continuously tries to hit the waypoint but that waypoint lies inside the plane turn circle and the result is that AI ends up circling the waypoint. 
This can happen when two waypoints are too close together with a big angle like having to turn 90 degrees as an example. 

I hope I explained it a bit clearer now.

Hi Miguel here is the mission. It is a night mission. You will see that no ground attacks take place. The AI flights just follow there path and do not attack. The flight that goes in a circle is a F-16 block 52 flight. Cannot remember if it is the fligt that I am escorting or another AI F-16 flight.

I have no Tacview as I do not use it.

0: you must install OVGME
1: in DCE_Manager, enter the path of OVGME
1bis: in DCE_Manager: install a campaign
2: then, in OVGME, activate DCE_MissionScript_mod

We have to use OVGME to get the result of your mission
I strongly advise you to read or watch some OVGME tutorials

Hi,
I let the mission run on a server (I don't have the F16 module)

So, to start with, there is no other F16 AI flight, except your wingmen.

Otherwise, on this map, we are often confronted with lobotomized aircraft that, once the task is done, takes a return course and flies endlessly

You can also have a flight that bugs because, when approaching the CVN, it changes course and the plane does not know what to do.

Another thing that is quite recent, and that I could correct (one day), is the bad timing on some flights, and to keep a consistent speed, the flight zigzags.

Another annoying thing is the congestion of the F14s, the landing of the E2 and then the weird departure of the F18s, so that strike 1 was very late

In the end, there were still a few GBU38s shot

 

In conclusion, I don't see too many flight circling except the bug on landing on a CVN that is turning

It is also possible that it is the right mission but they did not do exactly the same thing.
In any case, I suggest you to install tackview, it's free and very practical

With the last ED update, many airbase radio frequencies were changed on Syrian map !
Here is a quick update file to put in : X:\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Mods\tech\DCE\Missions\Campaigns\Cyprus Incident-Hind\Init

db_airbases.lua

I will update this file with new Syrian airbase later ...

I updated all the Cyprus incident campaigns in User Files with new db_airbases and I added the new Gazelle Cyprus air force skin 😉

If you want to add it in a begun campaign you will have to add it with Notepad++ in the oob_air.lua file here  X:\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Mods\tech\DCE\Missions\Campaigns\Cyprus Incident-Gazelle\Active and skip mission with the Manager

Quick question : any particular reason for USA to be of faction "Red" in the Cyprus Incident campaigns? And how could I switch them back to blue?

This prevents me from quick-hacking a campaign to add Apache to it, because your apache needs to be in the same coalition as USA if you want to have access to GPS and make the initial alignment ....

These strange coalitions come from an internal discussion regarding the political situation at the time played where Cyprus and Greece were closer to Russia and Turkey closer to the USA.

That's why Cyprus get russian armor and helicopters...

For MP with my group (GC 22) I developped a special version with UK Apache based in Akrotiri Airbase fictionnaly fighting with Cyprus forces (I know it's far fetched... "tiré par les cheveux" but it's for my group 😉

It seems to be able to use GPS alignement...

Congratulations team for the release. I downloaded and tried the first mission: Wow that is difficult. The Greek Mirages just rip through the package with their radar AAMs. Anyway, I'll keep trying. Cheers!
