Menus don't update when jumping into a vehicle from spectators

The following is strange.

 

Check the attached mission.

 

You need CA module to test this. In the mission no game master or any other CA slot has been configured.

 

Steps to simulate:

 

1. Run the mission.

2. Now within 10 seconds:

2.1. Go to map view F10

2.2. Jump into Vehicle1 using ALT-J

2.3. Check radio menu, there should be no other menu.

2.4. Wait 10 seconds. A menu is set for Vehicle1.

2.5. Check radio menu, strangely, there is no menu.

3. Exit the vehicle.

4. Rejoin the vehicle.

 

You'll see the menu was set.

 

The menu is set with a very simple script on a timed trigger.

 

Note that when a game master, tactical commander, JTAC or spectator slot is configured, and selected as a slot, and jumped into the vehicle, the menu system is working correctly.

 

A few questions on this:

1. Is it possible to jump into Vehicles without CA module?

2. Is it possible to jump into Vehicles with a CA module without CA slots?

3. It is possible to jump into Vehicles having the "Pilots can control vehicles" switched off?

 

Something is not cooking, but don't know what is the right expected functionality.

 

Note that this is not an urgent problem. It is something i found accidentally.

Just want to check, you say no game master or any other CA slot has been configured but i see one GM slot

 

to the best of my knowledge I have answered in bold

no you should only be able to f7 view on units

2. Is it possible to jump into Vehicles with a CA module without CA slots?

yes if the unit is ticked " player can drive "

3. It is possible to jump into Vehicles having the "Pilots can control vehicles" switched off?

yes if the unit is ticked " player can drive "
