I suppose he launched missile on you...

This delay problem has always been there but I do not know why that's the case.

Yea there's indeed a problem, the alarm changed a while back (1.5.4-1.5.5) and that's when this bug came, along with the new horrible alarm (but it has to be) it tells you you're being locked a long time after the contact has faded or lost lock, more then a minute at times. Would be nice if this was corrected, but it's not extremely important.

Maybe linked with damage model, if the plane you shot down still has a working radar, and its radar is still locking you, combined with the 8 sec memory, once the boogie finally looses its lock, or radar stops working, blows up, what ever.

- Jack of many DCS modules, master of none.

- Personal wishlist: F-15A, F-4S Phantom II, JAS 39A Gripen, SAAB 35 Draken, F-104 Starfighter, Panavia Tornado IDS.

It Doesn't happen only when you shoot the plane that was locking you down, lets say you are in a dogfight and the aggressor overshoots you, the alarm goes on for a long time after, for more then 8 seconds.
