Hi

 

I've seen updates coming but nothing is done for that. The screens are done with an Oculus Rift and deffered shaders ON

 

On the first, all is OK:

 

 

Then i press F10 and return in F1 view, and then :

 

 

If i don't switch in F10 view, the display switch alone as you can see in the 2nd screen. Pressing F10 just accelarate the problem.

 

After, during flight, the 2 modes are changing randomly and it's very unpleasant.

 

Hope you understand, this time, why i complaint since months and why i play only on the ultimate version before 2.1

+1, I've seen this problem too, in 1.5 and 2.1. When you start moving the weird shading disappears.

Excuse me but for the 1.5, i'm thinking you're wrong because the deffered shaders aren't implemented yet in this version.

 

For ED team, i specify that if i choose to switch OFF the deffered shaders and to switch ON, the HDR, the shadows of trees and buildings are flickering and they're blue.

I've seen weird shadings in the cockpit, but only at night with moonlight...rectangular-shaped sections of the main instrument panel lighting and darkening abruptly and randomly.

I don't own a rift so it is difficult for me to test this, can you if possible attach a short track replay showing the issue and I will make sure a team member with one can check

 

I have not seen this myself with my setup.

Because i've just tried to do a track to show you but DCS crashes when i want to leave towards menus, so it's impossible to save a track.

very strange, can you attach your dcs.log after the crash I will take a look

 

do you have any unofficial mods installed?

 

If the track is to large it may not allow

I've already thought about an unofficial mod that could explain the problem, and i've all uninstalled but it's the same.

In fact, i do all updates and let the add-ons uninstalled.

Since the problem exists, i play only with the 2.05.3889, the ultimate version before deffered shaders and map of Normandy, thinking that ED already knows the problem and waiting patienly

In case we need a track file after crash

 

To do this, start a flight and wait a crash of the DCS World

Go to c:\Users\<User_name>\AppData\Local\Temp\DCS\

Find a file LastMissionTrack.trk

For DCS, the crash happens when i press ESC and quit. If i don't try to return to menu, DCS doesn't crash, but i have the problem shown in my screenshots.

I would recommend removing the unofficial mods and do a clean up and repair

If you want i will try a repair but i havn't introduced mods since the last update, but after all, why not, if it runs ...

Repair and Cleanup are 2 Different Functions.

 

Repair: Scans DCS World Versioned Files and replaces any that have been modified.

 

Cleanup: Scans the Entire DCS World Folder and Every File, any file that is not part of DCS World is Prompted to backup, keep or delete.

 

 

Repair will not remove unofficial mods/files left behind by unofficial mods.

 

You have SEVERAL UNOFFICAL Mods, that if not maintained can cause problems w/ Core DCS World Functions, Including Graphics Engine Faults that Trigger GPU Driver Crash.

I've done a cleanup, it founds some files that i have deleted, and then i've done a repair and the problem is still here. I've forgotten to attach the new zip.

I maintain my display drivers up to date and i have this problem since the arrival of deffered shaders, 3 versions of nVidia display drivers since that.
