Mr_Burns
With that HUD unit having 7 potentiometers, what is the best control board for all those inputs, pretty sure my GGG only has 2 pots connections.

I'm not using a potentiometer. All knob switches are using rotary encoders. I used the evaluation board on which PIC18F4553 was installed. But I don't know if it's best. If you want to use more potentiometer, you should use A/D converter. https://www.digikey.com/products/en?keywords=MCP3008-I%2FP BB, I found your tumblr while I was doing some research on youtube. Mr_Burns
Are they the two next to the AP and ON OFF buttons? I wondered what they were for couldnt find it NATOPS Wish ED would do a complete system rundown of what controls will be required, the start sequence will be good as was tutorial where WAGS went around the cockpit, but i am not making a replica so I dont want to havemade panels and bought switches that were needed in game, for example, im not going to build a comms panel becuase I only plan to the / menu to contact ATC etc. He mentions a few will be always in the manual selection, so if only have to use them very very rarely I probably not make that panel and use the mouse. jrsteensen
Burns, yes they are. They are used for enabling channel select and selecting channels for comm 1 & comm 2. ward8124
The thing I have a problem with is how to stick the buttons to those switches as I've got the same switches with backlot LEDs but no idea how to make sure that the buttons which are perspex and engraved don't fall off/come loose. Just love how you've engineered yours and WANT this myself! Theneduiel
Great work, BB. Is it possible to share the 3D datas for the buttons? I try to build the UFC and, if it work, maybe more. Which buttons did you use for the numberblock? Can you give us some tips how to program it in DCS?
