When I go to standby, I can do the radar-selftest, then I see the cursor etc, but as soon as I flip it on, the screen goes black. I followed the correct startup procedure, still no joy. Does it always break in one particular mission? Does it work on a new mission editor creation created right now to test? I know it's possible to wreck the radar by a bad ramp start order. I think I'm going to have to redownload it to check. The radar break behavior is really annoying intended or otherwise.
lemoen 发布于2017年10月3日 发布于2017年10月3日 The Mig21 radar needs a long time to warm up. Also, make sure you flip the AC power switch AFTER the engines have spooled and only let the radar warm up thereafter.

Frederf 发布于2017年10月4日 发布于2017年10月4日 The time required for radar in standby having never used it before in flight seems to be exactly 5:00. In cases of some warm up time or use the warm up time is shorter. The required warm up time increases the longer the radar is off (up to maximum 5 minutes).
