More details here

Day One : At first DCS ran fine ... but something has changed?

Day Two : Now it boots up to the splash screen as shown in the image below ... and hangs. According to task manager its running fine and looking at the core activity it seems active. The mouse and the rest of windows is running fine. Just the Splash screen interface is completely dead. I have reinstalled the entire sim three times ... but with the same outcome. As far as I can see the firewall is clear for DCS and DCS updater ...

Any ideas what is going on?

I had copied my old user/config/... /// folders to the new install with all my module/target profiles in etc ... somewhere in that is an incomparability .... rename the whole folder and let dcs create a new one. ... then Ill add stuff on a one at a time basis ... hopefully weed out the culprit.
