Keep my 960 and get a new monitor with 3840x2160 and 60hz ( samsung ) 2 Get a 1070 and wait with the monitor Both i can t at the moment What do you think ? I i use a 1070 with that 60 Hz 1900/1080 will i have a significant improvement of graphic output ? yes. i am a qualified noob :-) Thanks for your answers
Simicro
The 960 will struggle to run a game at 3 840 x 2 160 (4K). For 4K you need at least a 1080 if not a 1080Ti. A 1070 for 2K (2 560 x 1 440) is OK. - Tony - . My Reviews: Oilfield Campaign - Argo Campaign l My Mission: Huey Ramp Start Voice-Over New! . Simicro
You are most welcome. To sum up my previous posts, it would be your option 2. With the release of the 1070Ti, hopefully prices for the 1070 might drop a bit... but maybe not immediately. Regarding "noob", don't worry mate. Me too I was a noob 2 months ago when I started to study the upgrade of my rig in anticipation of DCS 2.5 - Tony - . Simicro
perhaps i should start to look for a 1080 If you have budget for a 1080 that would be perfect. 1070 or 1080 + 2K 27" monitor is a very good combo IMHO  ..seems 2.5 is in front of the door ...
