jjohnson241
Hi, Had a problem trying to update controls in 2.1. Tried to repair and ended up with weird error stating SSL key problem with Updater. Tried reinstall, now game won't start or update. Tried repair and still got the SSL error from updater. I need help trying to figure this out. Thanks [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] 3rd Mar Div RVN '66-'

the_soupdragon
How weird. I had the same thing happen to me tonight. But I had just updated my PC while forgetting to de-register my modules.. So I went through the steps outlined in this thread and I am now back up and running. https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/support/faq/564/#1780273 hope it helps. jjohnson241
I set my date back a few days and the updater took off. Don't forget to set the date back to current when through. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] 3rd Mar Div RVN '66-'
Balzarog
You need to set your computer date to 12/14/2017, run your updater and repair, and then set your computer date back to the actual date when you're done. The DCS SSL certificate expired on 12/15/2017. Major screwup by DCS on the usual update day of 12/15/2017. There are MANY, MANY, MANY a threads about it in the forum. When all else fails, READ THE INSTRUCTIONS! i-7 8700K Coffee Lake 5 GHz OC CPU, 32GB Corsair 3200 RAM, GTX1080 Ti 11Gb VRAM.
