ESA Dodo Posted December 29, 2017 Share Posted December 29, 2017 (edited) We normally use pounds/hour to measure fuel comsuption in the Huey. If you want to calculate the exact (or most close) rate you may use the chart that matches your flight parameters. As an example, you can see fuel flow at top and botton of the chart: It was very common to use a high average of 600 pounds per hour. And remember there is a 20 min caution light, that reminds you to land as soon as practicable. That is 200 pounds of less usable fuel out of a maximum of 1400 pouds (without aux fuel tanks).
