in most vids I see of carrier landings, the pilot usually scoots forward when the plane catches the wire. Can we get this effect in DCS?

Strobe is jammer. Strobe to dash is under 35 km. HDD is 7 times range key. Radar to 160 km, IRST to 10 km. Stay low, but never slow.

I might be wrong but wouldn’t the setting “head movement by g-forces” do this?

I dont know. I mean G forces affect maneuvering not arrests. At least I think so.

But when you stop suddenly you’re experiencing negative G, just as the catapult should incur positive G. I don’t know if it’s modeled with that option, but worth a try and maybe possible to exaggerate it with the correct modification of a lua script.
