conrex1
I know I'm being stupid as no one else seems to have this problem... BUT I can't seem to even start the campaign as I always fail the start-up procedures as my EAC never aligns in time even though it's like 1st priority for me...:helpsmilie: I hit NAV on the CDU and switch over too EGI but time is against me... Anyone got any ideas? Thanks!
Emmy
I flip the two switches for alignment right after the APU reaches 100% Gives it a head start while I wander around the cockpit turning on screens, getting the HUD BIT done and flipping on fuel pumps, etc. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] http://www.476vfightergroup.com/content.php High Quality Aviation Photography For Personal Enjoyment And Editorial Use. www.crosswindimages.com

Sabre-TLA
You have to wait for INS alignment - takes about 4 minutes. Try the interactive start-up mission and it will explain it. MapleFlagMissions - Read Our Blog for Updates
Nooch
The EAC (Enhanced Attitude Control) cannot align itself. You're mixing it up with the INS system. Quoting the manual: "EAC uses sensor data from the Embedded GPS INS (EGI) navigation system, the Central Air Data Computer (CADC) and the SAS, and then provides input into elevator and yaw as part of the SAS." It provides two major functions: the PAC (keeps aircraft steady when you fire the gun) and the autopilot. To get the EAC working you must first wait for INS alignment and then select the NAV option on the CDU and finally push the EGI button below the HSI.
