S77th-konkussion
No, Sir- nothing like that ever happened to me. I can't imagine anything on the TIR itself overheating. Perhaps the person's monitor was getting too hot. [sIGPIC]http://forums.eagle.ru/attachment.php?attachmentid=43337&d=1287169113[/sIGPIC]

Toady
I think there were very rare cases of this happening on TIR4. In all two I read about on Natural Points forum they were replaced. Read to bother hands their on time much too with people only that bit little the.

Can somebody confirm that there might be an overheating problem with TIR ? Yes, there is such a problem. It doesn't happen often, but there are numerous cases, and all that i've seen were with TIR4. Mine too. The reasons are not known well. Solution is simple: http://forum.sukhoi.ru/showpost.php?p=826834&postcount=
4c Hajduk Veljko
Well, I’ve never had any heat problem with my TIR-2 and TIR-3. However, one of our squad members is heaving heat problem with his TIR-4. I sure will point this thread to him. Kindred
Well my TrackIr 3 does act kind of funny sometimes, especially if I had running for while. Kind of aggravating actually lol. If related to heat, not sure, I’ll test it, will put it in the freezer lol. Not that I will be any good, unless I put myself in there lol.:megalol:
SuperKungFu
my trackir 4 feels kinda warm after a while of playing but i don't play it long enough for it to stay in that heat. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Kuky
Maybe if the unit is sitting on top of hot monitor and exposed to sunlight (not from the front side of course as then the thing wouldn't work) and it gets too much heat? No longer active in DCS...

Not this case, it's the main chip inside heating too much.
