When contact appearing on radar screen, around the triangle contact icon on radar screen there is a square shaped light-green colored box.

Yeah, it's the same for me (and I guess everyone).

 

By the way, Daniel, we call those symbols "seagulls" ;)

(they miss a side to be called triangle)
