I am interested in 1900x1080 or 1600x1200 (BTW, 1280x768 or even 1280x1024 is not good enough for me ;) ) DELL Intel® Core™ i7 Processor 940 2,93 GHz @3 GHz, 8 MB cache | 8.192 MB 1.067 MHz Tri Channel DDR3 | 512 MB ATI® Radeon™ 4850 | 500 GB 7200 rpm Serial ATA | Samsung SM 2693 HM 25.5 " | HOTAS Cougar Thrustmaster |

LawnDart
Wouldn't say it's the first (Ultra) HD... our "Smoke On" trailer, released 5 months ago in October was in 1080p and the movie 720p (due to its size), both can be found at our website. None the less, if you can keep the res high, bitrate high and squeeze in 30 fps it will look good! For future projects I'm planning on 1920x1080 res, bitrate dependant on the net speed and at least 30 fps in WMV HD... Downloading the vid now...:) [sigpic]http://www.virtualthunderbirds.com/Signatures/sig_LD.jpg[/sigpic] Virtual Thunderbirds, LLC | Sponsored by Thrustmaster Corsair 750D Case | Corsair RM850i PSU | ASUS ROG MAXIMUS X CODE | 32GB Corsair DDR4 3200 | Intel i7-8086K | Corsair Hydro H100i v2 Cooler | EVGA GTX 1080 Ti FTW | Oculus Rift | X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty | Samsung SSD 970 EVO 1TB NVMe | Samsung SSD 850 EVO 1TB | WD Caviar Black 2 x 1TB | TM HOTAS Warthog | TM Pendular Rudder | TM MFD Cougar Pack | 40" LG 1080p LED | Win10 |

Aeroscout
Nice vid. It was a bit choppy on my crappy computer though. DCS Wishlist: 1) FIX THE DAMN RIVERS!!! 2) Spherical or cylindrical panorama view projection. 3) Enhanced input options (action upon button release, etc). 4) Aircraft flight parameter dump upon exit (stick posn, attitude, rates, accel, control volume, control-surface positions, SAS bias, etc). 5) ADS-33 maneuver courses as static objects. 6) Exposed API or exports of trim position and stick force for custom controllers. 7) Select auto multiple audio devices
TucksonSonny
Nice vid. It was a bit choppy on my crappy computer though. It must have about 23-25 FPS in mediaplayer 11 (my pc) I did a test on a 3Ghz Sony notebook: only 17,5 FPS and on my old Compaq PIV 2Ghz: only 7-15 FPS LOL Warning M$ is taking away functionality from your mediaplayer with upgrade from version 10 to 11! Print Screen protection WTF? (good luck for me I still have my old computer with mediaplayer 9 and 10) DELL Intel® Core™ i7 Processor 940 2,93 GHz @3 GHz, 8 MB cache | 8.192 MB 1.067 MHz Tri Channel DDR3 | 512 MB ATI® Radeon™ 4850 | 500 GB 7200 rpm Serial ATA | Samsung SM 2693 HM 25.5 " | HOTAS Cougar Thrustmaster |
TucksonSonny
Hi! Admittedly, I haven't seen the movie, But the the thread title reads: pougachev's Cobra... Should it be Pugachev's Cobra? Unless the premise of the movie is that another guy named pougachev is doing pugachev's cobra... A minor detail for what I'm sure is a fine movie... Cheers This typo mistake was made all over the internet “google pougachev” It is indeed “pugachev's cobra” Thanks, DELL Intel® Core™ i7 Processor 940 2,93 GHz @3 GHz, 8 MB cache | 8.192 MB 1.067 MHz Tri Channel DDR3 | 512 MB ATI® Radeon™ 4850 | 500 GB 7200 rpm Serial ATA | Samsung SM 2693 HM 25.5 " | HOTAS Cougar Thrustmaster |

bSr.LCsta
picture quality is great, but if you gonna have us D/L 40megs couldn't you at least put a little effort into the creativity side of things? is this ok?
Disso
Yea, to be honest, It just seemed like you hopped ingame, opened up Fraps, and recorded a random Cobra just to "claim" the first " (Ultra) High Definition! (16x12)" title, even if it wasn't. Shoulda at least enabled camera Jiggle and fiddled with the camera angles a bit, or else, why can't we just go ingame and watch it for ourselves in higher quality? Anyway, thanks. SU-30MKI F/A-18F ...Beauty, grace, lethality.
TucksonSonny
Totally agreed! It was just a discovery of me of the latest and free XVid (DivX codec) (Get rid of the professional M$ mediaplayer codecs, they suck) Next I am planning a real movie with a real air-war-plot-scenario. Anyway, until someone can’t post me a link of a trailer, movie or whatever clip made in Lock-on/FC released before 24-FEB-07 in these formats I consider me record holder in this category :D . @ bSr.L()Csta, Anyhow, I remember one of your movies as one of the coolest and most creative movie ever! ;) I wonder why it was not done before with all the fancy dual and quad systems out today! Are you ready for a DivX 2560x1600 res film? NEODARK
Something to point out: UltraHigh Definition is = to 7680 x 4320 (4 times as big as the current 1080P offering) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UHDV 1600x1200 is 4:3 and is a lower res than 1080P (1920x1080) :)
Specter1075
Here is an irrelevant and probably stupid question; why does your clock advance so quickly during that movie?
Disso
Perhaps because he slowed down the footage by half ingame to record for better FPS, and then sped the footage up at twice the speed to give it the normal pace. Thus you see normal gameplay but a quick time. SU-30MKI F/A-18F ...Beauty, grace, lethality.
TucksonSonny
Here is an irrelevant and probably stupid question; why does your clock advance so quickly during that movie? Rendering DivX is a time-consuming operation! Bit rate is about 4864 kb/s for the Xvid (DivX)-file . The Microsoft HD example “To_The_Limit_1080.wmv” is even 8417 kb/s bit rate. Media player shows 176 kbps bit rate on the Xvid (DivX)-file which is an error! see also: http://forum.lockon.ru/showthread.php?t=21681 DELL Intel® Core™ i7 Processor 940 2,93 GHz @3 GHz, 8 MB cache | 8.192 MB 1.067 MHz Tri Channel DDR3 | 512 MB ATI® Radeon™ 4850 | 500 GB 7200 rpm Serial ATA | Samsung SM 2693 HM 25.5 " | HOTAS Cougar Thrustmaster |
