Brigg Posted February 21, 2018 Posted February 21, 2018 Seen a good deal on a Samsung SSD and was wondering if it would be worth while using it to just put DCS on and taking it off my main SSD. Has anyone else done a similar thing and did you get better performance.

You wont see any dramatic change anymore, it's just to stay on the safer side if you want/need more space anyway. My C drive NVMe is also my (default) /temp for recordings which get finally stored on a HDD, DCS and other games reside on 2 independent Sata-SSD's. drives are in my sig btw. NVMe = OS ; 850Pro = 2 x Games/VMware ; 2x HDD is for cold storage and streaming end point. Other apps on D and games on another. Due to the size of flight sims, they generally get their own drive. These are all SSDs. Spinners are just for miscellaneous data.
