dundun92 Posted March 27, 2018 Posted March 27, 2018 (edited) So... I have three things I want for DCS: FC3, Thrustmaster t16000m, and TWCS throttle. But, I can't afford all of them at once. I already have an Extreme 3d Pro, so the throttle is more of an issue than the stick. I also have the standalone F-15C. So, here are the three options I came up with: 1. Get the TWCS now, and get the t16000m/FC3 later 2. Get FC3 now, and get t16000m+TWCS later. 3. Get t16000m now, and get TWCS/FC3 later. Which do you all think? razo+r Posted March 27, 2018 Posted March 27, 2018 Personally, I'd go for control hardware first before going for a module. This way you can learn flying from beginning on "correctly" instead of re-learning it.
Sokol1_br Posted March 27, 2018 Posted March 27, 2018 3. Get t16000m now, and get TWCS/FC3 later. Get T.16000M now and "Frankestein" your 3D PRO as throttle. :D
dundun92 Posted March 28, 2018 Author Posted March 28, 2018 Get T.16000M now and "Frankestein" your 3D PRO as throttle. :D Lol. That seriously sounds like a good idea though. frogger Posted March 28, 2018 Posted March 28, 2018 get the TWCS throttle first, search around for a second 3d pro and gut it for its spring. i used an old one to put a second sping in my 3d pro and i actually love it now. i fly alot of close formations with friends and the 3d pro does just fine. next on the list is the rudder pedals. when the wife turns her back :D
