[2.5.0][2.5.1 OB] Dropping mk82 when switching AUT to CCIP

I am not 100% shure if this is a bug but it seems very odd.

if I select a mk82 bomb in AUT mode and press weapon release,

without a designated target nothing happens.

Then I switch to CCIP after this the bomb is immediately released.

Steps to reproduce:

-start the quick action "conventional bombing"

-set master arm to on

-select mk82

-make shure you are in AUT mode

-press weapon release

--> nothing is released

-switch to CCIP or DSL mode

--> the bomb is released instant

Can anybody confirm this behavior?

Not a bug, in AUT mode computer will release bombs automatically, just like in CCRP mode in A-10C

That is not what OP decribes, imo. I understand it this way: the aircraft "remembers" that you had pressed weapon release. When switching to CCIP, it will release the weapon - although you are not pressing the pickle button anymore. I.e. the bomb falls, the moment you switch to CCIP, not the moment you press pickle while in CCIP.

This would be clearly a bug, imo, as this behaviour is completely unsuspected and rightous dangerous.

sry but you misunderstood me. The AUT mode works as it should.

Flagrum describes it correctly. Sry English ist not my first language.
